Busting Out had its world premiere at the Seattle International Film Festival. It also screened at the
Central Standard Film Festival/IFP Minneapolis, Women in the Director's Chair Film Festival in Chicago, Chicago International Film Festival, Everett Women's Film Festival, Washington, Ashland Independent Film Festival, Oregon, as well as meetings of the U.S Breastfeeding Committee, Washington D.C, La Leche League International Physician's Conference, Rhode Island, and Young Survivor's Coalition, Seattle, National Women's Studies Association, Annual Conference, Oakland, CA.
